June 1-5 Moana

Join our fun teachers for a journey beyond the reef with Moana, Maui, and all their friends. Students will play theater games that help them make fast friends and build in confidence and foundational acting skills. Then they will choose a scene from the iconic musical and work lines, blocking, music, and choreography. On Friday, at 11:00 or 3:00 there will be a performance of everything they have learned for parents so bring your camera and prepare to watch your child perform! Full day campers should bring a sack lunch to enjoy from 12 pm – 1 pm.

June 8-12 Peter Pan

Students will play theater games that help them make fast friends and build in confidence and foundational acting skills. Then they will choose a scene from the iconic musical and work lines, blocking, music, and choreography. On Friday, at 11:00 or 3:00 there will be a performance of everything they have learned for parents so bring your camera and prepare to watch your child perform! Full day campers should bring a sack lunch to enjoy from 12 pm – 1 pm.

June 15-19 Improv Camp

9am – 12pm

Mr. John is the executive director of the Alternative Comedy Theater and performs with his improv troupe across the DFW metroplex. He also teaches improv classes to children’s theater groups and schools year round. This week, he brings his knowledge of improv skills and lots of games to our studio for a fun week of camp! Students will learn this important stage skill, but more importantly, they will grow in confidence, comfort with performing and public speaking, the ability to go forward when things don’t go as planned, and many other life skills! On Friday at 11am, there will be an improv show for parents so you can see how much your child has learned over the course of the week!

June 15-19 D&D Camp 

1pm – 4pm

Ages 11-18

This camp has a 4 person minimum and a 12 person maximum to allow to the best game play structure.

Dungeons and Dragons is a roleplaying game, where players use their imagination in a positive way to create an elaborate adventure story. Our five-day camp will help create a memorable week using classic fantasy tropes. Each camper will join an adventuring party and go forth… into the unknown! Day one will focus on character creation and then camp counselors will be there to guide them on a creative and engaging journey. No special dice or books are needed. We will provide everything but experienced players can bring things from home if they would like to. A small daily snack and water bottle will be provided, but sharable snacks are encouraged.

Expressing ideas constructively. Having fun. Making friends. Creativity and imagination. Respecting others’ ideas. Cooperation and teamwork & more!

August 3 – August 7 Kid’s Choice Camp

Join our fun and experienced teachers for a camp of YOUR choice. Students will hear selections from several popular musical theater productions and then vote on which show (or shows) to work on. Students will play theater games that help them make fast friends and build in confidence and foundational acting skills. Then they will choose a scene from the iconic musical and work lines, blocking, music, and choreography. On Friday, at 11:00 there will be a performance of everything they have learned for parents so bring your camera and prepare to watch your child perform!

Things to know…

  • * The remainder of camp tuition will be charged 2 weeks before camp starts.
  • * All camps have a minimum sign-up of children to run. If the minimum number of students is not met, the $50 enrollment fee will be applied to your Rockwall Acting account to be used for another camp or class in the 2025-26 season.
  • * Cancellations more than 14 days out will forfeit the registration fee of $50.  No cancellations are accepted within 14 days and full tuition will be forfeited.
  • * Snacks provided during some camps may include allergens. Please notify teachers if your child should not participate in our snacks. You will need to provide a snack for them instead.
  • * All students should bring a closed, non-spillable, water bottle to camp.
  • * An email will go out 2 weeks before each camp with additional details to help you and your actor prepare for this fun week!
