The Hills are Alive: Sound of Music Jr. Auditions
Our crown jewel this summer is the beloved classic, Sound of Music Jr.. This 60-minute youth adaptation brings the timeless story of Maria and the von Trapp family to life right here in Rockwall.
Priority Alert: The June 1st audition deadline is our biggest milestone. If you haven't submitted your audition materials yet, now is the time to jump in! This production is more than just a show; it’s an opportunity for students to build resilience, teamwork, and lifelong friendships (Spotlights UK).
Audition Tips for Success
Auditions can be nerve-wracking, but we’re here to help your performer shine!
- Pick Your Favorite Thing: Choose a song that showcases your child's personality. Whether it’s "Do-Re-Mi" or a modern hit, confidence is key.
- Prepare with Joy: We focus on building confidence in every stage of development. Remind your child that our instructors are industry professionals who want them to succeed.
- Practice Performance: Musical theater helps children develop clear speech and expressive body language (Dance Dynamics).
